Blake prides himself on his ability to communicate with both sides of a dispute.
Blake began work as a solicitor at ERA Legal in 2012 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia in 2013.
While studying, and before joining ERA Legal, Blake worked in the building and construction industry. This background has equipped him with the ability to understand practical issues that affect small businesses. Where the legal matter has a construction element, Blake’s experience in the building and construction industry allows him to apply his practical hands-on experience to the problem and clearly focus on what the dispute is actually about.
Blake prides himself on his ability to communicate with both sides of a dispute, believing that a clear understanding of all sides and honest conversation will allow his client’s expectations to be reached and, more importantly, exceeded.
Blake has completed a double degree in Commerce/Law after studying across the UK (University of Exeter), Canada (University of Alberta) and Australia (University of Wollongong). Blake completed an additional graduate diploma in legal practice (University of Wollongong), and in 2015 completed the specialist insolvency education program provided by Queensland University of Technology and the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association.
Blake has appeared as an advocate in the:
• Supreme Court of New South Wales
• Federal Court of Australia
• Federal Circuit Court of Australia
• District Court of New South Wales

Blake’s focus at ERA Legal is in building and construction disputes, Security of Payments NSW, large scale recoveries for Administrators and Liquidators, commercial litigation and general insolvency matters.
