Kylie is an Associate in the commercial group at ERA Legal and was admitted to practice in 2014. Kylie began working in the legal profession prior to being admitted as a legal secretary then paralegal. With over a decade of experience in the legal industry, Kylie has been exposed to a wide range of commercial matters and has developed a hunger to always understand the latest commercial problems.
Since joining the firm in 2011, Kylie has regularly acted for lenders on all legal issues associated with the financing of a wide variety of transactions, including documenting and facilitating complex high value transactions for project finance, acquisition finance, property finance and corporate finance. Kylie also acts for insolvency practitioners, secured parties and corporations providing expert advice on general commercial matters and transactions.
Kylie is a leading lawyer on the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (PPSA) and regularly advises and speaks on topics including the impact of the PPSA on commercial transactions and the validity and enforceability of security interests.
Kylie is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
