Shauna joined ERA Legal as a Graduate at the beginning of 2016 after completing a Bachelor of Public Health and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at the University of Wollongong. She completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law in 2016 and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in July 2016.
Shauna makes a personal investment in achieving the best possible outcome for her clients. She is competitive, achievement-orientated and thorough in her work. Shauna works hard to ensure her clients feel heard, respected and confident that their interests are being protected.
Shauna is experienced in drafting a wide range of complex commercial documents and facilitating various commercial transactions. She is particularly experienced in the interpretation and application of the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth.) and commercial litigation matters which involve the enforcement and recovery of various types of securities. Shauna also acts for both lessors and lessees in commercial lease transactions and maintains a strong focus on continuing to improve her knowledge and skills in both her specific practice areas and commercial law in general.
Shauna is admitted to both the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia and has appeared as an advocate in the:
- Supreme Court of New South Wales; and
- District Court of New South Wales.
